Hello,

It's a very different type of game.

Guildwars is more a closed world, with cooperative play. The pvp part of the game is situated on an island and mostly 4vs4 6vs6 8vs8.

I think it doesn't worth now to pay for buying it. I suggest you to wait for Guildwars 2, getting out this year or next year. To play at it's best, you would need to buy Guildwars plus all the expensions (3) its come to 130$ ez.

The choice comes to you, read about both game and decide ^^
